The Venice Art Center is an art and cultural destination, offering a strong sense of community, featuring venues for the display of art, hosting concerts and events, collaborating to create citywide public arts projects, as well as offering year-round classes, workshops for adults and children in virtually every visual art medium. Our goal is to make art open and available to the community and to enhance and improve the quality of the lives of those living in our area.
The Venice Art Center offers over 600 classes to adult and children’s classes annually, 12 unique visual art exhibitions which are free and open to the public, a one-of-a-kind artisan gift shop, a venue for special events and concerts, art library and an on-site café. We support local artists by offering them many opportunities to express their creativity, sell their work and give them the platform to teach others.
The Venice Art Caffe, at the Venice Art Center, is open Monday-Saturday (for reservations or pick up call 941-786-9023).
